Rabbi David Freedman entered the rabbinate in 1973 and has served various congregations with distinction in London and Sydney.In addition to his duties for The Central Synagogue in Sydney, he lectures in Medieval Jewish History at Sydney University and in Jewish Law at UNSW.
He responds to the charge that the violence of the Bible makes it unsuitable for teaching.
