About Joel
Joel Edwards was a Jamaican who migrated to Britain at the age of eight and came to faith in a black Pentecostal church, the New Testament Church of God. He became a senior pastor of that community. His work as a probation officer in the criminal justice system had sensitised him to befriending the offender.
