Reflection Activities

This collection of learning protocols encourage students to consider their prior knowledge; to critically examine any assumptions; and to track how their thinking evolves. Each learning routine helps students to integrate new concepts into their thinking, and invites them to contemplate the possible implications.

Reflection protocols often involve writing, journaling, or guided thinking activities – where the focus is on the process of thinking and learning, rather than reaching a specific outcome.
