Craig Keener is Professor of New Testament studies at Asbury Theological Seminary. He has written a number of celebrated Bible commentaries and several volumes on the historical background to the Bible, including his book Miracles: The Credibility of the New Testament Accounts. He has also done extensive research around the world – in both developing and developed countries – into the stories of people who claim to have witnessed or experienced a miracle. He speaks to Simon Smart about why it might be reasonable to take the Bible accounts of miracles seriously, the incidence of miracles today, and the biggest miracle of them all: the resurrection of Jesus.
