You know, I’ve been dealing with religious materials my whole professional life. It started as an accident, of course, I mean, I was a graduate student and I scored really high on a test and was recruited to be a research assistant, and was assigned this big project on religion and [somehow] it just kind of happened. But sure, it seems to me that the idea of an accidental random universe … it seems to me is much less credible than some level of creationism. I don’t know much about God. I am certainly not a … what you would say a conventional believer. But the notion that … I mean, it seems to me the most incredible leap of faith is to say, it just happened, and it has no meaning and it is not created, and it’s just here. And I don’t know, I look around and it doesn’t strike me as plausible.
